Body capacitance is the physical property of the human body that has it act as a capacitor. Like any other electrically-conductive object, a human body can store electric charge if insulated. The actual amount of capacitance varies with the surroundings; it would be low when standing on top of a pole with nothing nearby, but high when leaning against an insulated, but grounded large metal surface, such as a household refrigerator, or a metal wall in a factory.

The invention discloses an in cell touch panel and a display device. Multiple self-capacitance electrodes which are arranged on the same layer and are independent of one another are arranged in the touch panel according to the self-capacitance principle. A touch detecting chip can judge the touch position by detecting change of the capacitance value of each self-capacitance electrode. Due to the fact that body capacitance acts on all the self-capacitance, compared with the mode that body capacitance only acts on projection capacitance of mutual capacitance, the touch variation caused by touch on the panel by a human body is larger, and the signal to noise ratio of touch can be effectively increased; in this way, the accuracy of touch sensing is improved. In addition, compared with the prior art that two new film layers need to be additionally arranged when the touch function is achieved according to the mutual capacitance principle, the in cell touch panel has the advantages that since an ADS-type pattern of a public electrode layer is changed, the multiple self-capacitance electrodes which are independent of one another and wires enabling the self-capacitance electrodes to be connected with the touch detecting chip are formed, no extra film layer is needed, the production cost is reduced, and the production efficiency is improved.

Reusable inductive transducer for measuring respiration

The present invention is an inductance plethysmograph transducer particularly suited for use in respiratory monitoring. The transducer is in the form of a woven fabric providing a substantially flat extensible belt for encircling a portion of a patient for a wide range of patient sizes. The transducer is used for monitoring changes in cross-sectional area corresponding to changes in volume of an expandable organ such as the patient's chest or abdomen. At least one electrical conductor is woven directly into the fabric in a manner that improves the electrical performance of the transducer over the prior art in two ways. First, a high-density weave is used for the fabric that produces many more inductive turns of the embedded conductor(s), thereby increasing the overall inductance change, hence improving the signal to noise ratio, and increasing the expandability of the effective length of the transducer. Secondly, the conductor(s) are oriented within the weave perpendicular to the surface or the torso of a patient being monitored, thus reducing artifact due to body capacitance. In addition to improvements in the electrical performance, the manufacture of the inductance sensor is a single step process that can be carried out on existing looms, reducing the overall cost while improving the flexibility, durability, and ease of use. The present invention is also machine washable making reuse much less labor intensive and therefor much less expensive.

Firstly, a formula between the sensitivity of a parallel plate capacitor and pole plate spacing is derived, and then the sensitivity of a variable pole spacing capacitor is obtained. An LC parallel circuit is constructed, the two ends of a capacitor of the circuit areconnected in parallel and a metal pole plate is led out, when the distance between a person and the metal pole plate changes, the value of the capacitance further changes, and the capacitance value ofthe capacitor is further determined by measuring the frequency of LC parallel resonance. Single linear interpolation is adopted to fit the linear relationship between induction capacitance and induction distance. When a human body is close to or far away from the metal pole plate, the capacitance value changes, so that the circuit resonance frequency changes, and thus an alarm is triggered. The non-contact high-sensitivity alarm adopts the LC parallel circuit resonance to measure resonance frequency and has the characteristics of high anti-interference capability, good environmental adaptability and the like, and the non-contact high-sensitivity alarm can be produced on a large scale and has great market potential.
