The invention discloses a method for improving loquat fruit quality, and relates to the technical field of
crop cultivation. The method comprises the following steps: S1, fertilizing is carried out, wherein an organic human and animal
fertilizer and a composite
fertilizer are applied in soil during a flower
bud germination stage; CaCl2 is sprayed during a full-bloom stage; a
chitin fertilizer is applied in soil during a young fruit stage; and a
potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer is applied in soil before fruit harvesting; S2, pest controlling is carried out, wherein
pesticide is sprayed to leaves once or twice respectively at 25-35 days after
loquat tree flowering and 3-5 days before loquat fruit bagging; and S3, fruit
thinning and bagging are carried out, wherein 2-3 fruits are left on each bunch for a large-fruit type, 3-5 fruits are left on each bunch for a medium-fruit type, and 5-7 fruits are left on each bunch for a small-fruit type; and bagging is carried out immediately after fruit
thinning. The method is simple, highly efficient,
pollution-free, and green and environment-friendly. With the method, single fruit average weight, edible rate, soluble
solid content, soluble
sugar content, and
vitamin C content are improved. Single fruit average titratable
acid content is reduced. Also, the fruits have glossy and bright appearance and good tastes. With the method, the market value of the fruit is improved, and economic benefit is improved.
