The invention discloses a method for restoring
cadmium polluted farmland soil by using
pennisetum purpureum cv .Guimu-1. The method comprises the following steps that (1), the
pennisetum purpureum cv.Guimu-1 is planted on the soil in a
cadmium polluted farmland fallow area, watering is carried out after soil covering, and the
sprouting rate is ensured; (2),
nitrogen fertilizer is applied to the planted grass in stages, wherein
ammonium sulfate is applied for each time; (3), for the
pennisetum purpureum cv .Guimu-1, starting from the second year,
nitrogen fertilizer is applied in stages in April, July and September every year; (4), the
nitrogen fertilizer used is unit fertilizer which is mainly nitrogen, has N marked amount and is applied to soil to provide
plant nitrogen
nutrition; (5), the perennial and high-
biomass hybrid pennisetum purpureum cv .Guimu-1 is adopted as a restoration
plant, and high-efficiency restoration is carried out for consecutive years; and (6), after the restoration project is completed, deep
tillage is carried out, the developed
root system of the Guimu No.1 is removed, the
cadmium content in the soil is reduced, and after
cutting and removing several times every year, the activity and total cadmium content in the soil are gradually reduced. The method is easy to implement, easy and convenient to operate, low in cost and capable of effectively removingheavy
metal cadmium from polluted farmland soil.
