The invention relates to a display
system for comparing and observing the growth of
plant root systems under different growing conditions, particularly to a display
system which utilizes water culture method for parallel cultivation, can satisfy continuous growth requirements of plants and is used for observing growth comparison experiments of
plant root systems. The display
system comprises three main parts which are a cultivation tank, a
nutrient fluid circulation and regulation device and a movable stand; the cultivation tank and the
nutrient fluid circulation and regulation device are respectively arranged on the movable stand and are communicated through a pipeline; and
nutrient fluid required by the cultivation tank is supplied by the nutrient
fluid circulation and regulation device. The display system provided by the invention can not only be used for teaching works such as comparing and displaying geotropism, nutrient-
tropism, hydrotropism and other growth characteristics of
plant root systems, but also provide a convenient experimental tool for continuously comparing and observing growth conditions of
plant root systems under different environmental conditions, and the problems in the prior art such as incapability of measuring intuitionally and all sidedly, inaccurate
simulation and observation results, lack of comparative
observation function, and the like are solved.
