A rotary die cuter for a box making machine has an abrading cylinder mounted for rotation alongside the anvil for engaging and resurfacing the blanket of the anvil on a virtually continuous basis to smooth, level and even the surface of the blanket. This resurfacing occurs during normal operation of the rotary die cutter so no production is lost. The abrading cylinder has a sheet layer of abrasive material spirally wrapped on the surface of the cylinder and bonded thereto with adhesive material on the backside of the sheet layer. The abrading cylinder is movable towards or away from the anvil by a servo motor and gearbox. The position of the abrading cylinder relative to the anvil is determined by an encoder which sends the information to a computer or programmable controller which calculates the changing diameter of the blanket and the amount of speed change that must be imparted to the anvil to compensate for its changing diameter. The computer or programmable controller is connected to a drive system of the anvil to effect the speed change.

According to the estimation method disclosed by the invention, the estimation of the three-dimensional parameters of the near-field source is realized by adopting the structure of the rotating interferometer. Compared with the method based on an interferometer with double long base lines, the estimation method disclosed by the invention has higher precision in parameter estimation and higher capability in the ambiguity resolution of parameters, and the estimation method can be used for positioning the target of the near-field source.

A method of producing oxidized or microfibrillated cellulose

The invention relates to a method of producing oxidized or microfibrillated cellulose (MFC). According to the invention there is provided an aqueous pulp suspension with a consistency of at least 15%, and at least one oxidant is added to the suspension to oxidize cellulosic hydroxyl groups in the suspension under mechanical mixing or shearing. The oxidized suspension, washed and diluted to a lower consistency, is subjected to homogenization to yield gel-like MFC. Alkali hypochlorite may be used as oxidant, and preferred mediating oxidation catalysts are AZADO and TEMPO. Alkali bromide may be used as a cocatalyst. The MFC product, which as a suspension has an increased viscosity, is suitable as a means of regulating viscosity or for production of films and composites.

The method is widely applicable to situation: in navigational fixing system, using confluence of observation data obtained from multiple sensors obtains navigational fixing information such as space position, speed and acceleration of object to be measured. Analyzing asynchronous characteristic of input data of system, the invention gives out formula of recursion computation for system to carry out sequential dual filter to obtain optimal estimated value. Especially, the invention describes operation step for executing SDF calculation to obtain navigational positioning solution of the fixing system based on digital videocast signal.
