The invention relates to a stem-
cut tree clipping method. The method comprises the steps that after a new lateral
branch grows from the position, close to the top end, of a stem-
cut tree and it is determined that the lateral
branch is reserved, a tree wooden stake at the top end of a
tree trunk is removed, and the tree wooden stake removal position is aligned to the root of the lateral
branch closest to the top end; after the tree naturally grows for a period of time by waiting and observing, if a part of the surface of the wound or the whole surface of the wound is not wrapped by newly-growing
bark, the
bark is peeled off on the main
trunk or the
main branch at the upper portion of the same tree by
cutting away and cleaning away dead
phloem on the periphery of the surface of the wound, the peeled
bark immediately covers the exposed surface of the wound where dead bark is removed, and the surface of the wound is tightly sealed and bound. According to the stem-
cut tree clipping method, the tree wooden stake at the top end of the
tree trunk is removed in time after the new lateral branch grows from the position, close to the top end, of the stem-cut tree and it is determined that the lateral branch is reserved, so that a cutaneous
ridge on the lateral branch can wrap the
tree trunk to the maximum extent in the growth process, the contact area between the lateral branch and the tree
trunk is increased, the lateral branch is firmer, the lateral branch is effectively prevented from being split off, and the
survival rate is remarkably increased.
