The method comprises the following steps of sending the connection request information to the server, wherein the connection request information comprises the identity information of the monitoring terminal and the identification information of a target vehicle-mounted terminal requesting connection; after the first indication information returned by the server is received, establishing the wireless communication connection with the target vehicle-mounted terminal, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating that the identity information of the monitoring terminal is matched with the identification information of the target vehicle-mounted terminal; sending a monitoring request to the target vehicle-mounted terminal; and receiving the vehicle operation data corresponding to the monitoring request and returned by the target vehicle-mounted terminal. Compared with an existing scheme that the vehicle monitoring is achieved through the deployment of the hardware monitoring equipment and the accessory connecting equipment, the monitoring cost is reduced, the monitoring process is simplified, and the monitoring efficiency and the safety are improved.
