7 results about "MMP3" patented technology

Stromelysin-1 also known as matrix metalloproteinase-3 (MMP-3) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MMP3 gene. The MMP3 gene is part of a cluster of MMP genes which localize to chromosome 11q22.3. MMP-3 has an estimated molecular weight of 54 kDa.

Composition for preventing or treating bone diseases comprising CCR2

The present invention relates to a composition which is for preventing or treating bone diseases and includes CCR2 as an active ingredient. It was confirmed that a C—C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2) protein, a polynucleotide encoding the CCR2 protein, or a mesenchymal stem cell transduced with the CCR2 according to the present invention neutralize bone disease factor MCP-1, thereby reducing the collagen epitope (CTX-II) and collagen metabolism factors (MMP1 and MMP3) relating to collagen absorption in the body. In addition, it was confirmed that the expression of the SOX9 gene and anti-inflammatory cytokines (TGF-β and IL-10) related to cartilage differentiation was significantly increased. Thus, the present invention has excellent regenerative ability against osteoarthritis and excellent pain suppression and alleviation effects, and thus can be effectively used for preventing or treating bone diseases such as osteoarthritis.

Biomarkers used for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer

This invention discloses biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer. This application proposes a novel non-invasive method for the early detection of peritoneal metastases in gastric cancer patients. The RSA model combines 4-mRNA genomes (BUB1, SPC25, CT83, and MMP3) with clinical characteristics. Furthermore, it provides the application of 4-mRNAs in the treatment of gastric cancer, offering new directions for improving risk stratification, treatment planning, and monitoring of gastric cancer patients, as well as for effective treatment of gastric cancer, and has broad application prospects.

Use of PT-129 in the preparation of a medicament for treating rheumatoid arthritis

This invention discloses the application of PT-129 in the preparation of drugs for treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA), belonging to the field of RA treatment. This invention is the first to demonstrate that the compound PT-129 can target and intervene in the synovial microenvironment, effectively inhibiting the abnormal activation behaviors of RA fibroblast-like synovial cells (FLS) such as proliferation, migration, and invasion, and downregulating the expression of N-cadherin and MMP3 proteins in synovial tissue. This invention provides a combined drug formulation containing PT-129 and RGFP966. This composition exhibits a significant synergistic effect in vivo, effectively relieving joint swelling, increasing bone density and trabecular bone thickness, reducing trabecular bone separation, thereby inhibiting cartilage degradation and bone destruction. This invention provides a novel targeted drug and combination therapy with definite efficacy for the clinical intervention of RA, possessing extremely high clinical application development value.

Application of isoprenylcysteine carboxymethyltransferase as a therapeutic target for rheumatoid arthritis in the preparation of drugs for treating rheumatoid arthritis

The application discloses application of isoprenyl cysteine carboxymethyltransferase as a rheumatoid arthritis treatment target in preparation of a rheumatoid arthritis treatment drug. The application finds that the expression of ICMT is down-regulated after NSUN2 is knocked out, further research on the expression level of ICMT in RA FLS finds that the mRNA and protein expression of RA FLS ICMT is obviously up-regulated, the cell migration and invasion ability is reduced after ICMT is knocked down, and the expression of MMPs such as MMP1, MMP3 and MMP9 of RA FLS is obviously inhibited. The above results show that ICMT can regulate the abnormal migration and invasion of RA FLS, and targeting ICMT can become a new means to prevent RA joint destruction. Therefore, the application provides an effective treatment target for RA, and provides a new idea for clinical treatment of RA.

Engineered exosomes, methods of making engineered exosomes, and uses thereof

The application relates to the technical field of biological medicine, and discloses an engineered exosome, a preparation method and purposes thereof. The method comprises the following steps: introducing an exogenous nucleic acid coding a human TIMP3 protein into endothelial progenitor cells to construct engineered cells, and obtaining exosomes by separating and purifying the supernatant after culture. The engineered exosome is secreted by the endothelial progenitor cells and is efficiently loaded with the TIMP3, and has both cell homing characteristics and protease inhibition functions. The exosome can significantly inhibit matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP3) activity, reduce extracellular matrix degradation, and improve the structural stability of a blood vessel wall. The application provides a novel and efficient cell-free delivery strategy for treating aortic dissection, aneurysm and other vascular remodeling diseases.

Application of D-mannose in preparation of medicine for treating plantar fasciitis and related pain

The invention discloses an application of D-mannose in preparation of a medicine for treating plantar fasciitis and related pains, the active ingredient in the medicine is D-mannose, and the D-mannose inhibits the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-3 (MMP3) caused by inflammation stimulation in plantar fasciitis tissues through a metabolite mannose-6-phosphoric acid (M6P). The invention discloses and verifies that the natural product D-mannose realizes an inhibition effect on a key pathogenic factor MMP3 of plantar fasciitis through a specific metabolic pathway of 'Man-M6P' for the first time, and not only is the drug effect obvious, but also the safety is far better than that of the existing common drugs. Besides, the traditional Chinese medicine composition not simply relieves pain and resists inflammation, but targets an upstream key link MMP3 causing degeneration of fascia tissues, and by inhibiting the MMP3, damage to fascia collagen structures is reduced fundamentally, and conditions are created for self-repairing and regeneration of tissues, so that radical treatment and recurrence prevention are expected to be realized.

Composition for prevention or treatment of rheumatoid arthritis comprising supercritical extract of acanthopanax sessiliflorus harms as active ingredient

The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, comprising, as an active ingredient, a supercritical extract of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Harms. In the present invention, it was confirmed that, upon administration of the supercritical extract of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Harms to a rheumatoid arthritis animal model, pain induced by rheumatoid arthritis was reduced and cartilage damage was suppressed. Also, a decrease in the infiltration of immune cells in cartilage tissue was confirmed, and it was confirmed that the expression of Col2a1, Sox9, and Aggrecan, which are cartilage anabolic factors whose expression is reduced by inflammatory cytokines and inflammatory factors, was increased, and the expression of Mmp3, Mmp10, Mmp13, and Adamts5, which are cartilage catabolic factors, was reduced. It was also confirmed that pimaric acid and kaurenoic acid, which are useful components of the supercritical extract of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Harms, protected chondrocytes and suppressed the differentiation of Th17 cells, which are pathogenic cells in rheumatoid arthritis.
