A seal extending between adjacent slots of a gas turbine engine is disclosed. The seal comprises a plurality of generally planar members fixed together along a central axis. The outer member further comprises rounded ends that encompass the second and plurality of third generally planar members. The seal disclosed herein improves sealing capability by providing a more compliant seal over the prior art while reducing the mechanical loads experienced along the seal weld joint, thereby improving seal durability.

A method for manufacturing a circuit includes the step of providing a first wiring level comprising first wiring level conductors separated by a first wiring level dielectric material. A first dielectric layer with a plurality of inter connect openings and a plurality of gap openings is formed above the first wiring level. The interconnect openings and the gap openings are pinched off with a pinching dielectric material to form relatively low dielectric constant (low-k) volumes in the gap openings. Metallic conductors comprising second wiring level conductors and interconnects to the first wiring level conductors are formed at the interconnect openings while maintaining the relatively low-k volumes in the gap openings. The gap openings with the relatively low-k volumes reduce parasitic capacitance between adjacent conductor structures formed by the conductors and interconnects.

The subject invention pertains to a method and apparatus for generation and/or delivery of x-ray irradiation. The subject invention can be used to deliver x-ray irradiation to an artery in order to prevent restenosis in the artery. For example, a short pulse laser generated ionizing dose of x-ray irradiation can be effectively delivered to the arterial wall using hollow waveguides. The delivery of such a dose can help to prevent restenosis. The use of short pulse x-rays can allow energy to be precisely delivered, and can reduce diffusion of the energy to nearby normal tissue during the exposure. The arterial walls can be irradiated from a cylindrical or conical symmetric mirrored reflective end tip mounted on the end of a hollow waveguide. The subject invention also pertains to a method and apparatus for delivery of x-ray radiation with respect to medical therapies such as tumor necrosis.

A radiographic image capture device of the present invention includes: a radiation detection panel including a photoelectric conversion element that converts radiation into an electrical signal; a signal processing board that is disposed facing towards the radiation detection panel and that performs signal processing on electrical signals obtained by the radiation detection panel; a flexible substrate that includes wiring lines disposed on a base film provided between the radiation detection panel and the signal processing board and including a low wiring density region and a high wiring density region, and electronic component(s) that are electrically connected to the wiring lines; a reinforcement member that is provided at a low wiring density region and that raises the mechanical strength of the wiring lines.

Once deployed, the annular centralizer expands to engage the wellbore sidewall with the central hole expanded for passage of the well casing.

The invention discloses a RF coaxial connector, which includes a socket and an adapter. The socket includes an outer conductor and a center conductor. The adapter includes a plug capable of being inserted into the socket. The present invention relates to semiconductor devices, and more particularly to a method for forming a CMOS semiconductor device, the method including a first integration anneal sequence for each NFET and a second integration anneal sequence for each PFET of the semiconductor device. The method includes providing a structure having an nFET gate stack and a pFET gate stack patterned on a substrate. A first disposable spacer is formed adjacent the nFET gate stack and a second disposable spacer is formed adjacent the pFET gate stack. A first doped S/D region and a second doped S/D region are then formed in the substrate. The first and second disposable spacers are removed after the first and second doped S/D regions are formed. A first halo implant and a first S/D extension region are formed adjacent the nFET gate stack after the first and second disposable spacers are removed. The structure is annealed using a RTA process. A first final spacer adjacent the nFET gate stack and the second final spacer adjacent the pFET gate stack are then formed after a second halo implant and a second S/D extension region are formed adjacent the pFET. The structure is annealed using a laser anneal process to form an NFET and a PFET on the substrate.

In a color image processor for converting a RGB input image data into a CMYK image output data, it is determined whether a data format of the input image data is a non-picture image format or a picture image format. For the input image data of the non-picture image format, a color conversion is performed with values of C, M and Y colors made minimum and a value of K color made maximum, when values of all of the R, G and B colors are minimum, and, for the input image data of the picture image format, a color conversion is performed with the values of the C, M and Y colors set to temporary values slightly smaller than the maximum values thereof when values of all of the R, G and B colors are minimum. Final C, M, Y and K colors are obtained by performing the Black-Generation and Under-Color-Removal processing for the temporary values.
