Audiovisual collaboration system and method with seed/join mechanic

ActiveUS20190355336A1Facilitate animationFacilitate display artifactSpecial service provision for substationElectrophonic musical instrumentsSocial mediaSocial network
User interface techniques provide user vocalists with mechanisms for seeding subsequent performances by other users (e.g., joiners). A seed may be a full-length seed spanning much or all of a pre-existing audio (or audiovisual) work and mixing, to seed further contributions of one or more joiners, a user's captured media content for at least some portions of the audio (or audiovisual) work. A short seed may span less than all (and in some cases, much less than all) of the audio (or audiovisual) work. For example, a verse, chorus, refrain, hook or other limited “chunk” of an audio (or audiovisual) work may constitute a seed. A seeding user's call invites other users to join the full-length or short-form seed by singing along, singing a particular vocal part or musical section, singing harmony or other duet part, rapping, talking, clapping, recording video, adding a video clip from camera roll, etc. The resulting group performance, whether full-length or just a chunk, may be posted, livestreamed, or otherwise disseminated in a social network.

Memory controller and method for controlling a memory device to process access requests issued by at least one master device

A memory controller and method are provided for controlling a memory device to process access requests issued by at least one master device, the memory device having a plurality of access regions. The memory controller has a pending access requests storage that buffers access requests that have been issued by a master device prior to those access requests being processed by the memory device. Access control circuitry then issues control commands to the plurality of access regions in order to control the memory device to process access requests retrieved from the pending access requests storage. A query structure is also provided that is configured to maintain, for each access region, information about the buffered access requests in the pending access requests storage, and the access control circuitry references the query structure when determining the control commands to be issued to the plurality of access regions. Such an approach enables significant performance and energy savings to be realized in control of the memory device, without requiring the contents of the pending access requests storage to be directly monitored by the access control circuitry.

Method for sensing fast motion, controller and electromagnetic sensing apparatus

Disclosure is related to a method for sensing fast motion, a controller, and a related electromagnetic sensing apparatus. The method is applicable to a touch panel, in which a fast scan mode is introduced when a fast motion made by an electromagnetic stylus is sensed under a partial scan mode. Therefore, the scan mode is switched to the fast scan mode which is used to acquire coordinates of the stylus according to the electromagnetic signals generated by the stylus. After that, the process goes back to the partial scan mode for continuously sensing the location of the electromagnetic stylus, and determining any fast motion behavior. In one embodiment, in order to obtain the coordinates of the stylus when its moving rate exceeds a threshold, a moving direction may be firstly determined. The one or more sensing loops may be opened in the direction of movement.
