The vibration damping holes reduce the area of the outer plate, so that the excitation force acting on the outer plate is reduced, and the excitation force transmitted from the outer plate to other areas of the ship is reduced, so as to reduce the vibration of the whole ship;
Seawater can enter the cabin through the damping hole, and the excitation force is transmitted to the cabin through the outer plate and the dampinghole. The
seawater in the cabin plays the role of
vibration absorption, and further reduces the excitation force transmitted to other areas of the ship. Through the analysis, it is concluded that mostof the exciting force produced by the
propeller acts on the outer plate, and by
cutting off and reducing the exciting force acting on the outer plate, the exciting force transmitted to other areas ofthe ship can be greatly reduced.
