traffic flow, belonging to the technical field of
traffic signal control. The method comprises the steps of: setting vehicle sensors and waveband
signal indicator lamps along a road, setting parallel road induction
stream signal indicator lamps and buffering yellow waveband
signal lamps at intersections, transmitting a
traffic flow signal and a
green wave band
control signal in a
wireless manner, transmitting a
traffic flow pulse signal to a computer for
processing and pre-grouping the traffic flow, emitting a pre-grouping signal command, periodically turning on the waveband signal indicator lamps along the road to form a movable
green wave band so as to guide the vehicles to travel and group the traffic flow, and matching the intersection signal lamps to realize whole-journey independent phase green wave induction control of the traffic flow. The
system comprises a traffic flow signal collecting, traffic flow
signal processing and controlling device, intersection signal lamps and control cabinets of the intersection signal lamps, the vehicle sensors and the waveband signal indicator lamps are arranged along the road, and the sensors and the indicator lamps are in
wireless connection with the
signal processing and controlling device. The method and the
system, disclosed by the invention, have the advantages of realizing
phase difference independent green
wave band induction of vehicles and improving the intersection passing efficiency, etc.
