The invention provides a method for identifying
abalone origin by utilizing atomic absorption spectrometry, comprising the following steps: A. establishing an origin
abalone element
reference database, that is, using Cultured
abalone of Distribution in the same waters as origin standard products, measuring the contents of kalium,
sodium,
magnesium,
calcium,
zinc, and iron elements contained in the abalone as data of the element content
database of the origin abalone by utilizing atomic absorption spectrometry; B. identifying samples, that is, respectively detecting the abalone samples to be identified with the standard products under the same conditions, so as to obtain the contents of kalium,
sodium,
magnesium,
calcium,
zinc, and iron elements contained in the abalone, and identify whether existing
significant difference and judge whether the abalone belongs to the origin by comparing statistically the element contents of the standard products and the origin abalone. Because the origin abalone element
reference database established in the invention contains wider range, the analysis results by comparing the abalone to be identified and the
database is not influenced by subjective sense, thereby providing an
objective assessment criteria which has the characteristics of convenience, quickness, simple operation, and high accuracy.
