43 results about "Melanin precursors" patented technology

Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid which is one of the precursors of melanin. Therefore, taking the amino acid can help increase melanin synthesis and repigment the skin. Find out how to take phenylalanine for vitiligo. Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid most noted for being a precursor of tyrosine.

Photoelectrochemical method of separating water into hydrogen and oxygen, using melanins or the analogues, precursors or derivatives thereof as the central electrolysing element

The invention essentially consists in the use of melanins, melanin precursors or melanin derivatives, melanin variants, melanin analogues, natural or synthetic, pure or mixed with organic or inorganic compounds, metals, ions, drugs; as water electrolyzing material, using as sole or main source of energy, natural or synthetic light, coherent or not; in the systems of hydrogen production from water, known as photoelectrochemical systems. These systems integrate as semiconductor material and a water electrolyzer inside a monolithic design, to produce hydrogen directly from water, using light (between 200 to 900 nm) as the main or sole source of energy. At least to basic criteria had to be met: one was that the system or light absorbing compound should generate enough energy to start, lead and complete the photoelectrolysis reaction, being economical, stable and lasting in a water system, requirements met by melanins, representing thus an important and critical advance to solve the central problem of photoelectrochemical designs. The procedure can be applied to generate hydrogen, oxygen and high energy electrons, or the opposite sense, i.e., synthesizing water from the union of hydrogen and oxygen, generating electricity; it can be coupled to other processes, generating a multiplication effect; it can also be used for reduction of carbon dioxide, nitrates and sulphates or others.

Preparation method and application of hair dyeing product containing melanin precursor prepared by biological fermentation

The invention relates to the technical field of sterilization of hair dyeing products prepared from melanin precursors, and particularly discloses a preparation method and application of a hair dyeing product containing a melanin precursor prepared through biological fermentation. The method specifically comprises the steps: (1) extracting an edible mushroom compound enzyme solution, and performing fermentation conversion and concentration to obtain a concentrated solution containing a melanin precursor substance; (2) carrying out sectional high-temperature sterilization on the concentrated solution at the temperature of 90 DEG C-95 DEG C for 30-40 minutes, standing for 14-16 hours after sterilization, and then carrying out sterilization at the same temperature and for the same time as those of the first-time sterilization; and (3) detecting that hair is completely sterile through microorganism detection, and adding a coloring agent auxiliary material to prepare a hair dyeing product. Product microorganisms can be effectively killed, melanin precursor substances and effective nutritional ingredients can be reserved to the maximum extent, the whole process is simple and easy to implement, special high-pressure and high-temperature equipment is not needed, and industrial popularization is facilitated.
