The invention provides recombinant cinnamon
streptomyces and application thereof in
monensin production, and belongs to the technical field of microbial
fermentation and antibiotic preparation. According to the recombinant cinnamon
streptomyces provided by the invention, a ccr
gene with a
nucleotide sequence shown as SEQ ID NO.2 in the cinnamon
streptomyces is knocked out, and an xylA
gene with a
nucleotide sequence shown as SEQ ID NO.1 is overexpressed. According to the recombinant cinnamon streptomyces provided by the invention, through overexpression of the xylA
gene, the metabolic capability of the cinnamon streptomyces to
xylose is enhanced; the ccr gene is knocked out, so that the carbon
catabolism inhibition phenomenon is weakened, and the
xylose utilization rate is increased when the recombinant strain takes
xylose as a
carbon source. The recombinant streptomyces cinnamomi provided by the invention can improve the
titer of
monensin, reduce the production cost, shorten the
fermentation period and improve the production efficiency.
