In the method, the guide rail is firstly preassembled on the platform by using the doubling plate as the basal plane, and then, the whole guide rail is hoistedonto the slipway and installed. The invention has simple and reasonable method, convenient construction and high guide rail installation accuracy. The upward and downward hoisting and the reasonable arrangement of containers in the cargo hold can be ensured, and thus, the working efficiency and the ship manufacturing quality are increased.
