This invention relates to the field of
grinding equipment and provides a
surface grinding device and method for curved LCD screens based on a
laser pointer. The device includes a fixedly mounted lifting frame and a platform. A transport guide rail is located at the bottom of the lifting frame, and a traction
handle is located at the top of the platform. A
grinding mechanism is located at the bottom of the platform. Each of the four corners of the platform has a
branch tube. A display screen workpiece is placed at the top of the frame and the
branch tubes, and edge protection components are provided at the ends of the
branch tubes. In use, the display screen workpiece is placed on the frame and the branch tubes. A
stepper motor drives a steering gear set via its output shaft. The steering gear set drives a drive
bevel gear through a telescopic sleeve. The drive
bevel gear simultaneously drives both the forward and reverse bevel gears. During the
grinding process, the grinding ring and grinding disc apply opposite frictional forces to the display screen workpiece. These two frictional forces cancel each other out, thus achieving precise grinding.
