The cyclone separator comprises a tank body, an overflowing port, a diversion cone, a diversion cap, an oil discharge outlet, a slag discharge outlet, a water collection port, a water drainage pipe, a water outlet, an upper filtering plate, filler, a lower filtering plate, a manhole, a spiral guide trench, a water inlet, supporting legs and a sewage drainage port. A water inflow pipe of the water inlet communicates with the spiral guide trench. A certain angle is formed between the water inflow pipe and the wall of the spiral guide trench. The cyclone separator has high centripetal force; the cyclone time is long, oil, water and mud are basically separated during swirling, and layering can be achieved more quickly after oil, water and mud flow out of the guide trench; and due to the long cyclone time, water can be separated from sediment more easily. After processing is completed, the oil content of water is smaller than or equal to 10 mg/L, the content of mechanical impurities is smaller than or equal to 5 mg/L, and the oil removal rate and the mechanical impurity removal rate are both higher than 95%.
