The cooling device comprises a C-shaped or U-shaped jet pipe, a water inlet pipeline, a connection flange, a tee joint and a flow control and measurement part; and spray orifices are uniformly distributed in the side, facing the track, of the jet pipe. Water or other liquid coolant can serve as a cooling medium, the flow can be controlled automatically, and circulation use of liquid can be realized. The cooling device is suitable for high-speed eddy current braking test, and when the cooling device is used in cooperation with the track, the test speed can reach 500km / h or higher.
