The invention relates to the technical field of bamboo
processing and
food packaging, and particularly discloses a scheme for improving bamboo temperature tolerance and surface hydrophobicity, the scheme comprises the following steps: pretreatment: carrying out ultrasonic-assisted
hydrothermal treatment on raw materials; the surface of the bamboo wood is coated with the
coating, the
coating comprises
cellulose nanofibers (CNF), food-grade high-
hardness resin and food-grade
silicon dioxide, and the bamboo wood which can
resist the high temperature of 200 DEG C and can be repeatedly used for
food contact can be prepared after curing. According to the method, thermo-sensitive substances in bamboo wood are effectively removed through multiple times of mild ultrasonic pretreatment, soluble
sugar with high hygroscopicity on the surfaces of the bamboo chips is removed, and the
heat resistance of the bamboo chips is improved on the premise that the
mechanical property is not damaged; the
biomass-based temperature-resistant
coating is adopted, the
adhesive force of the coating is high, a layer of compact
physical barrier is formed on the surface of the bamboo wood through food-grade high-
hardness resin, and water
permeation is prevented. CNF is used as a nano reinforced phase, and the strength,
toughness and
adhesive force to bamboo wood of the coating are improved through a three-dimensional
network structure. In addition, food-grade
silicon dioxide is dispersed in the coating to form a microscopic coarse structure to block air and further enhance the
hydrophobic effect, so that the product has hydrophobicity on the premise of improving the
temperature resistance, is safe and non-toxic, and meets the safety standard of
food contact materials. The obtained bamboo wood is suitable for application scenes such as
food processing utensils, catering kitchenware, cooking and the like.
