The invention discloses a phased array weather radar and a self-adaptive frequency selection method and system thereof. When a prior signal-to-noise ratio is greater than or equal to a set threshold value, it is indicated that an airspace interference signal is strong, and the interference signal is avoided by adjusting an azimuth angle and/or a pitch angle; if interference signals can be avoided by adjusting the azimuth angle and/or the pitch angle, that is, the prior signal-to-noise ratio under a certain azimuth angle and pitch angle is smaller than a set threshold value, the working frequency is recorded and stored; if the interference signal cannot be avoided by adjusting the azimuth angle and/or the pitch angle, that is, the prior signal-to-noise ratio under any azimuth angle and pitch angle is greater than or equal to a set threshold value, the working frequency is not recorded and stored; and all working frequencies capable of avoiding interference signals by adjusting azimuth angles and/or pitch angles are obtained, frequency selection is carried out in the working frequencies, and the interference signals can be effectively avoided by combining the corresponding azimuth angles and pitch angles. The method does not need manual participation, does not need to add a hardware structure, and is simple in processing algorithm.
