By the adoption of the waste building block sorting device, waste blocks can be put on the weighing plate, a weighing sensor measures the weight of the blocks, when the blocks enter the lower portion of a shell, nitrogen is introduced into a sealed cavity through a gas inlet pipe, a deformable film is deformed along with increasing of the amount of the nitrogen in the sealed cavity and attached to the blocks gradually, when the deformable film abuts against a pressure sensor, the pressure sensor induces a pressure signal, when the pressure reaches a certain valve, the gas inlet pipe is closed, a gas outlet pipe is opened, the volume of the nitrogen is measured through a gas flowmeter on the gas outlet pipe, the volume in the shell is a fixed value, thus, the size of the blocks can be worked out, then the density of the blocks can be known, the blocks can be classified and subjected to crushing treatment correspondingly, the crushing effect is good, and the crushing efficiency is high.
