The invention relates to the technical field of insulators, in particular to a high-
voltage line column type
porcelain insulator with high bending strength. The
porcelain insulator comprises a
porcelain insulator body which is sequentially provided with an upper iron cap, a porcelain core rod, a lower
flange and an umbrella cover group from top to bottom. The hydrophobic rods are arranged on the surface of the umbrella skirt at the bottommost end in an array mode to form the
isolation layer and the water isolation cavity, when
liquid water flowing from top to bottom passes through the
isolation layer, the top ends of the hydrophobic rods can
cut off the continuity of a water film, meanwhile, a static air film intercepted by the water isolation cavity is combined to prevent the
liquid water from infiltrating an umbrella skirt substrate material, and therefore the umbrella skirt substrate material is prevented from being damaged.
Liquid water flowing through the umbrella skirt is forced to be converted into isolated water drops from a continuous water film through the synergistic effect, rolling is accelerated due to the fact that the contact area of the
liquid water and the
solid surface is reduced, the water film covering area and the
residence time of the umbrella skirt surface are directly reduced in the process, and under the low-temperature condition, ice cores are difficult to grow and firmly adhere to the surface; and the bending strength of the porcelain is further improved.
