At least one sliding wedge is mounted in a recess shaped to match the sliding wedge within the first plier arm or in the jaw part, whereby a first sliding wedge facing the cutting jaws is flat and a second sliding wedge resting in the recess is so shaped that the separation between both sliding wedges at a central area of the sliding wedge diminishes toward at least one of the two sliding wedge ends. Under this configuration, opening the insulation-stripping jaws causes longitudinal displacement of the sliding wedge along with simultaneous matching of position of the sliding wedge perpendicular to the longitudinal direction that results in cutting-depth adjustment of the cutting jaws and the cutting blade attached to it.

Driving device

A driving device, small in size and light in weight, is to stabilize the position of a surface-deforming element while reducing the effect of gravity thus enabling stable transfer and positioning. The driving device is structured to hold a movable member integrated with a piezoelectric vibrator and a lens by a shaft provided at a tip of a spring extended from an inner surface to center of a passageway. The shaft extends through an opening formed in a protrusion of the movable member. By a tensile force of the spring, the movable member at its outer periphery is pulled radially and held. When applying a voltage with a waveform changing sharply to the piezoelectric vibrator, the movable member flexes maximally upward or downward to have a reduced diameter and an increasing acceleration thereby making a movement. Then, when a frictional force increases, the protrusion is held at a point where the movable member moves. Because of being held by a tensile force, the effect of gravity decreases and hence the movable member is stabilized in position relative to a direction of transfer.

An electromagnetic suspension system comprises a universal joint mechanism for permitting radial movement of a cylinder relative to a center yoke while preventing axial movement of the cylinder relative to the center yoke. Since the cylinder is capable of radial movement relative to the center yoke, if a lateral force acts on the cylinder, the lateral force acting on a hydraulic damper does not have any significant effect on the center yoke 17, with respect to radial movement or rocking movement thereof. Therefore, excessive sliding friction does not occur in a center-yoke dry metal and a piston-rod dry metal, thereby ensuring smooth axial relative displacement between the center yoke and an outer yoke.

The device mainly comprises a liquid storage pot, a flow meter, an acid-resistant plunger pump, a pipeline electric heating jacket, a flat clamper, a plunger metering pump, a hydraulic oil tank, a condensation tube, an acid-resistant filter, a back-pressure valve, a liquid collection pot, a pressure gauge, a molecular vacuum pump, a data acquisition and control board, and a computer. The method comprises the following steps: (1) arranging the flat rock in the inner cavity of the flat clamper, and simulating the crack width by a shim; (2) starting the plunger metering pump, applying the sealing pressure, and taking out the shim; (3) starting the molecular vacuum pump, and zero setting the pressure gauge; (4) opening the liquid storage pot accommodating acid liquor; (5) starting the computer, inputting testing parameters, and injecting the acid liquor; and (6) calculating the reaction rate of the carbonate rock at any time. The method not only can be used for accurately calculating the reaction rate of the carbonate rock, but also can analyze and evaluate major factors affecting the reaction rate of the carbonate rock; therefore, the invention provides the specific equipment and the testing method for the research on the reaction of the flat carbonate rock.

During second impact, the supporting force of the support capsules (16a) against the non-falling side bracket (45) is lost, and the steering column (6a) is displaced in the forward direction along with the bolts (47) and support capsules (16a) and the falling side bracket (46), but the steering column (6a) does not fall off the non-falling side bracket (45).
