The invention discloses a liquid extraction system, which includes a precipitation tank equipped with a lifting liquid outlet pipe. The liquid extraction system further comprises a light-transmittingpipeline sight glass, an image acquisition and recognition device, an electrical control device used for receiving an image recognition signal and a control valve used for receiving a valve shutoff signal. The liquid extraction system and the extraction method have the advantages that the operation is simple, whether the extraction of the supernatant is completed or not can be timely and accurately judged, andthe influence on the supernatant due to the entrance of settled medicine residues into the extracted supernatant can be avoided.
