The cleaning head comprises a shell and a brush assembly installed at the bottom of the shell. The four scrubbing brushes on the cleaning head can simulate a human hand which can vertically and horizontally clean floors in a reciprocating mode in the working process, in addition, the vertical or horizontal movement directions between every adjacent scrubbing brushes are opposite, and therefore dynamic balancing of the brush assembly in the working process can be achieved. Thus, vibration of the surface cleaning equipment provided with the cleaning head is lower than that of common surface cleaning equipment in the working process.
