The flame-retardant thermal insulation material has the advantages of light weight, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high flame retardance and thermal insulation property and low cost, wherein the thermal conductivity reaches 0.030 W/m.K; the oxygen index reaches 49.5; and the flame-retardant thermal insulation material belongs to a level A flame-retardant thermal insulation material. The cost is reduced by 30 to 40 percent compared with that of phenolic foam boards without the closed cell perlite.
