This invention discloses a biomarker combination, a test kit, and their applications for assessing
ovarian reserve function. The biomarker combination includes the protective biomarker
melatonin,
dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate, and the damage biomarker 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine. A protection-damage balance
system is constructed to differentiate between physiological and
pathological ovarian reserve decline. The test kit contains a
saliva sampling component, a pretreatment solution, a lateral
chromatography test strip, and an age-stratified colorimetric card. The test strip has three test lines and one
control line, simultaneously detecting the three indicators using a
colloidal gold method. The test involves
morning fasting sampling, pretreatment to remove interference, color development, and comparison with the age-stratified colorimetric card, outputting three types of results: age-consistent, physiological decline, or
pathological decline. This enables non-invasive, instrument-free, and visually interpretable
home testing, solving the problems of high invasiveness, high platform dependence, difficulty in eliminating age interference, and unintuitive results in existing technologies.
