A channel 16 of a FinFET 10 has a channel core 24 and a channel envelope 32, each made from a semiconductor material defining a different lattice structure to exploit strained silicon properties. A method and apparatus are shown for increasing a propagation delay that may be tolerated between a memory controller and a memory device. The present invention provides for selection between two data paths for each word, where a first data path latches the data word from a DQS domain on a falling edge of a CLK0 domain and a second data patch latches the data word from the DQS domain on a rising edge of the CLK0 domain. Selection of the first data path permits larger relative propagation delays between the controller and memory to be accommodated without loss of data. Further, multi-cycle source synchronous timing logic may be employed that provides for the capture of data words on rising and falling edges of successive cycles of the DQS domain and storage for an additional cycle of the DQS domain to extend the period of time that each data word from the DQS domain is available and valid for the CLK0 domain. Selection of the first data path may also be used to accommodate shorter relative propagation delays between the controller and memory without loss of data when the propagation delay is short enough that the data from the memory is valid in advance of a first falling edge of the CLK0 domain by a margin that is at least a set-up time interval for the controller.

A hysteresis device is secured to an upper end of the pedal arm and engages the guide surface so that the hysteresis device slides along the guide surface as the pivot arm pivots between the released position and the applied position. A distance between the guide surface and the pivot axis varies so that the hysteresis device applies an increasing normal force to the guide surface to create an increasing friction force that opposes sliding motion of the hysteresis device as the pedal arm pivots from the released position to the applied position.

This invention describes compositions and methods of using non-covalently crosslinked resin coatings for lithographic applications. These materials are designed to undergo, after coating, a change that provides solvent resistance and, with some materials, simultaneous aqueous-base solubility. Non-covalent interactions allow for easier removal of these coatings than of covalently crosslinked materials. These types of materials are well-suited for trench and gap fill applications, as well as for anti-reflective coatings, spin-on carbon layers, and etch masks.

A content communication aggregates the received message states of software components into a aggregated update request representing the message state of the software components. The content communication manager sends and a content manger receives the aggregated update request. The content manager determines if updated content for any software components is available. Each message in the message list corresponds to a software component and indicating if any content is available for the software component. In a preferred embodiment, there is provided a switched mode power supply operable in start-up mode, normal mode and standby mode. In other preferred embodiments, there is also provided the power controller itself and a method for regulating a supply voltage during standby mode.

The vault enclosure includes a plurality of prefabricated panels formed from pultruded members having a plastic reinforced composition. An undersea communications system in which a message is converted to a redundant fixed-length data packet and transmitted acoustically as a quadrature phase-keyed signal in a frequency band with a continuous pilot signal at a frequency closely adjacent to the frequency band. A receiver uses the received continuous pilot signal to Doppler compensate the incoming quadrature phase keyed signal by estimating any Doppler distortion in the received pilot signal. The present invention provides an access device for surgery. The access device includes a guide member and a head member. The guide member and head member define a channel configured to receive and guide a sterile flexible scope with a working channel. The guide member and head member cooperate to extend through a small opening of 2 cm or less to access tissue structures. The head member may include surfaces to separate a pericardium from a surface of the heart, stabilize a beating heart and, with the endoscope, provide visibility for the implantation of a therapeutic such as stem cells to the surface of the heart with improved safety and accuracy. Ranges of other diagnostic, application of therapeutics or biologics, and observational applications may be facilitated by the access device, such as TMR, ablation, echo-probe diagnostics, LAA isolation, observation of the same procedures, etc.

A lane departure warning system includes a memory and a processor for validating a candidate region as including an image of a lane marker on the road is disclosed. The candidate region is identified within a latest road image of a temporal sequence of road images captured from the front of a vehicle traveling along a road. The memory stores non-transitory computer-readable instructions and adapted to store the road image. The image processor is adapted to execute the instructions to, when no previously-verified region and no previously-rejected region aligns with the candidate region: (i) determine a minimum distance between the candidate region and a previously-verified region of a previously-captured road image of the sequence, (ii) when the minimum distance exceeds a threshold distance, store the candidate region as a verified region, and (iii) when the minimum distance is less than the threshold distance, store the candidate region as a rejected region.
