Methods and apparatus for evaluating the quality of an environment or process by measuring light emitted from a bioluminescent sample containing ATP, ADP, or alkaline phosphatase. The apparatus comprises a sample collection and analysis system used to collect a sample, mix reagents, react the sample, and collect it in a measurement chamber. The present invention relates to a microdevice (100) for emitting electromagnetic radiation onto an associated object. An automatic telephone service forwarding device including a base or enclosure defining a socket for receiving a wireless telephone. Upon detecting the presence of the wireless telephone in the socket, the device automatically forwards telephone service for the wireless telephone to a previously-stored forwarding directory number, typically the directory number of a wireline unit located nearby. A precision syringe pump employing a syringe comprises a motor, a lead screw and a syringe driving head connected to the lead screw. The syringe comprises a cylinder and a plunger.
