The invention relates to a small triangular crawler chassis applicable to hilly and mountainous regions. The small triangular crawler chassis comprises a frame, triangular crawler traveling mechanismsand steering mechanisms, the triangular crawler traveling mechanisms are positioned on two sides of a front axle and a rear axle on the lower portion of the frame, the steering mechanisms are positioned among the rear axle and the triangular crawler traveling mechanisms, the triangular crawler traveling mechanisms comprise crawlers, supports, driving wheels, guide wheels, tension wheels and loading wheels, the driving wheels are connected onto the supports, the guide wheels and the tension wheels are connected to two ends of the lower portions of the supports, the loading wheels are connectedto the lower portions of the supports and positioned among the tension wheels and the guide wheels, the crawlers surround the driving wheels, the guide wheels, the loading wheels and the tension wheels, dampers II and damping springs II are arranged among the tension wheels and the supports, and horizontal dampers I and damping springs I are arranged on the lower portions of the supports. According to the chassis, a sensor is combined with a lifting cylinder, the attitude of the chassis is manually or automatically leveled, multi-aspect damping is realized by the aid of the bidirectional dampers and the damping springs, and the whole chassis has higher passing ability, stability and smoothness.
