An RSSI positioning method based on frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology, comprising: calibration stage: measuring the RSSI values of a plurality of channels at fixed points, and recording and calculating the ranging parameters in an RSSI ranging model; system preparation: deploying a positioning anchor node, and realizing synchronization between a target node and the anchor node; conducting communication on the target node by respectively utilizing a plurality of channels to obtain the RSSI values; signal processing stage: processing the RSSI into signal strength amplitude and performing optimization; and positioning stage: calculating a distance and the target node position on a positioning server according to each of the signal strength. The present invention solves the problem that low RSSI positioning precision cannot satisfy the actual requirements because a traditional RSSI positioning method is limited to factors such as multipath signal transmission, co-channel interference, obstacle interference and low coordinate calculation precision of a trilateration method.

Provided are system and method for generating a 3D facial model and animation using one video camera. The system includes a pre-processing part, a facial model generating part, a transferring part, a projecting part, an error calculating part, and a mesh transforming part. The pre-processing part sets correspondence relations with other meshes, generates an average 3D facial model, and generates a geometrical model and a texture dispersion model. The facial model generating part projects the average 3D facial onto an expressionless facial image frame that stares a front side to generate a performer's 3D facial model. The transferring part transfers a 3D facial model template having an animation-controlled model to the performer's 3D facial model to generate the performer's 3D facial model. The projecting part projects the performer's 3D facial model onto a facial animation video frame including a facial expression. The error calculating part calculates an error projected by the projecting part. The mesh transforming part moves or rotationally converts a joint in such a direction as to minimize the error.

Angled axis machine vision system and method

Embodiments of the invention comprise an angled axis machine vision system having a camera system angled with respect to an axis of the coordinate system of the environment. This configuration has all of the advantages of the horizontal alignment while eliminating the inherent problem of utilizing horizontal and vertical lines in an environment for distance calculations when the horizontal and vertical lines are parallel or close to parallel to an axis lying between camera centers of the camera system. With the camera centers angled about the roll axis, horizontal and vertical lines in the environment appear as angled lines in images taken from the cameras enabling more accurate distance calculations. With the camera centers angled downward about the pitch axis objects that are near are more readily observed. With angled axis rotation it is still possible for lines in the environment to be parallel to the axis defined between the camera centers, but these instances are rarer than horizontal or vertical lines in real world environments. Embodiments of the invention may comprise a camera mount that is rotatably mounted to a support wherein two sets of pictures from each of the cameras may either be utilized. In one embodiment the two sets are compared for the number of lines which are parallel to the axis of the camera centers and the set of pictures with the least lines parallel is used for distance calculations. In another embodiment, the two sets are utilized to correlate the distances derived from each set of pictures.

A display device is provided and includes a first photosensor that detects the light amount of ambient light of a display area, a second photosensor that detects dark current arising when light is blocked, and changeover switches that select the first photosensor and the second photosensor. The display device further includes a comparator that compares the output of the selected first photosensor or second photosensor with a predetermined reference value, and control means that calculates the difference between the comparison result by the comparator with the first photosensor and the comparison result by the comparator with the second photosensor and controls the amount of light supplied to the display area corresponding to the calculation result. This configuration suppresses the influence of a detection error due to variation in the performance between the photosensors applied to the display device to thereby accurately adjust the amount of light supplied to the display area.

Disclosed herein is a Fourier transform-based phasor estimation method and apparatus capable of eliminating the S influence of exponentially decaying DC offsets. According to a Fourier transform-based phasor estimation method according to an embodiment of the present invention, an input signal is sampled, and samples of one-cycle data of the input signal are separated into at least two sample groups. A Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) is performed on each of the sample groups. A DC offset included in the input signal is calculated on a basis of results of the DFT on each of the sample groups, and an error caused by the DC offset is calculated using the calculated DC offset. A phasor of a fundamental frequency component included in the input signal is estimated by eliminating the calculated error, caused by the DC offset, from the results of the DFT on the input signal.

The method includes sending a request for measurement information to the GNSS receiver at a first time and receiving the measurement information from the GNSS receiver in response to the request at a second time, where the measurement information includes position measurement data and a corresponding measured time based on satellite signals received by the GNSS receiver. The measured time is determined to be erroneous when it is outside an accurate time range determined based on at least one of the first time and the second time. A substitute time is identified and the position of the GNSS receiver is determined based on the substitute time when the measured time is erroneous.

The present invention improves a lead-in time of the PLL with a phase error detector having an enlarged range of phase error detection and gain control based on the PLL synchronous state. The phase error detection range is enlarged by correcting the phase error detection point in a case where the phase error increases. A locked state of the PLL is determined based on a standard deviation of the smoothed phase error values and the gains are switched between a lead-in transient state and a stationary state. As a result, it is possible to shorten and stabilize the lead-in time of the PLL.
