This invention discloses an enhanced
impurity removal and gentle
carding process for
machine-harvested cotton, belonging to the field of
textile processing technology. The process includes four coordinated steps: pretreatment and feeding control, enhanced
impurity removal in the licker-in area, fine
carding in the cylinder, flatbed, and doffer areas, and cotton suction and negative pressure configuration. By controlling the lap weight to 380-420 g / m and the
moisture regain to 7.0%-7.8%, increasing the licker-in speed to 920-980 rpm and using a low-blade, large-angle dust removal knife configuration, while simultaneously reducing the cylinder speed to 320-340 rpm and increasing the flatbed speed to 220-260 mm / min, and optimizing key spacing, this process achieves efficient removal of impurities from
machine-harvested cotton while reducing
fiber damage. This process solves the technical problems of low
impurity removal efficiency, high short
fiber content, and large quality fluctuations when the TC15-3
carding machine processes Xinjiang machine-harvested cotton. It reduces the impurity content of the sliver by 15-30%, the short
fiber growth rate by 1-2 percentage points, and the nip removal rate by 10-20%.
