The phenolic hydroxyl group content of the prepared high-grafting active lignin is increased by 30-60% compared with that before the reaction; and the DPPH free radical scavenging rate and the PTIO free radical scavenging rate of the highly grafted active lignin are respectively 70-95% and 50-80%. The treatment mode is low in cost, green and environment-friendly, the high yield is achieved, and the high-grafting-activity lignin can be applied to the fields of fruit and vegetable preservatives, anti-ultraviolet and anti-oxidation additives, food preservatives, antibacterial agents and the like.
