This application discloses a bridge
pier directional inspection device, which uses a wall-climbing
robot to inspect bridge piers. The top of each
pier has a
bridge deck, and the
bridge deck and
pier together form the bridge body. The directional inspection device includes two quick-fixing seats, a retraction guide rail connected between the two quick-fixing seats, and a fall-prevention component capable of directional movement along the retraction guide rail. The two quick-fixing seats are fixed at intervals to the bottom of the
bridge deck. The fall-prevention component includes a moving part, an upper
rope, a fall arrestor, and a lower
rope connected sequentially from top to bottom. The bottom of the lower
rope is connected to the wall-climbing
robot. The moving part cooperates with the retraction guide rail, and the wall-climbing
robot is used to
climb and inspect the surface of the bridge pier. The directional inspection device provided by this application has high inspection stability, can achieve high-precision initial positioning and accurate retrieval, reduces the risk of swinging and collision, and is less prone to jamming and falling.
