The self-circulating device is connected to a circulation loop of a water heater and comprises a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, a circulating pipe, a first temperature sensor and a second temperature sensor, wherein the water inlet pipe is connected with a water return pipe of the circulation loop in series, the water outlet pipe is connected with a hot water outlet pipe of the circulation loop in series, a waterway switching device is arranged on the water inlet pipe, one end of the circulating pipe is connected with the waterway switching device, the other end of the circulating pipe is connected with the water outlet pipe, the first temperature sensor is arranged on the water inlet pipe, the second temperature sensor is arranged on the water outlet pipe, and the water inlet pipe is conducted with one of the water heater and the circulating pipe by the waterway switching device. According to the self-circulating device, whether water in the circulation loop needs to be heated can be selected, self circulation of hot water can be realized, and when the temperature meets the showering requirement, the water heater is not needed to heat, so that the uniformity of the hot water is guaranteed, and the hot and cold phenomena of water are effectively avoided.
