underwater branch and connection devices, each group of

underwater branch device, a main connection box and multiplesecondary connection boxes, wherein the underwater branch device is connected with the main connection box via a main
submarine optical cable, the main connection box is connected with the multiple secondary connection boxes through branch submarine optical cables, each secondary connection box is connected with multiple underwater scientific observation devices via cables, each group of
shore base devices is connected with at least two underwater branch devices through the main submarine optical cable, each underwater branch device is connected with at least two additional underwater branchdevices through the main submarine optical cable, and all underwater branch devices are connected to a
cellular network structure. The submarine scientific observation network
system adopts a cellularnetworking structure, thereby having a good self-healing function, high reliability, strong ability to
resist destruction and good expansibility.
