The invention discloses a tea tree grafting method. The method comprises the following steps of 1, sawing rootstocks; 2, selecting scions; 3, cutting the rootstocks; 4, cutting the scions; 5, inserting the scions; 6, binding the scions and joints; 7, conducting management after grafting. An electric hand saw is used for sawing the rootstocks, cuts of the sawn rootstocks are smooth, and phloem is free of tearing. Compared with the traditional mode that a sabre saw is used for sawing the rootstocks, the labor intensity and the labor cost are reduced, and the working efficiency is improved; in addition, an oblique cutting method is adopted, the cuts are small, the water loss area is reduced, and nutrients and energy consumption required by wound healing are reduced; the joints can be sealed by using plastic belts for binding, and a moisture retention effect is achieved on the scions, so that sap produced by the rootstocks and the scions smoothly flows, and the survival rate is improved. By using the oblique cutting method for grafting, the method is simple and easy to implement, and a plastic bag for bagging and a sunshade net for shading are not required after grafting.
