The invention relates to a new
axial force measuring device and method based on a tension and
pressure sensor. The
axial force measuring device comprises an adjusting and fixing nut, a push-
pull force meter, a
dynamometer seat, a key, a bearing pedestal, an
axial force wrapping device, a bearing group, a cylindrical
roller bearing, a shaft, a shaft-end threaded piece and a locking nut. According to the invention, an axial force is separated from a radial force by utilizing the cylindrical
roller bearing and an angular contact bearing group (or a conical
roller bearing group), influence of the radial force on axial force measurement is avoided, and the axial force can be measured more accurately; fine adjustment of the position of the shaft in the axial direction is realized via the adjusting and fixing nut; the bearing group, the axial force wrapping device and the like converts the axial force of the rotating shaft into a static axial force, and the push-
pull force meter realizes measurement in both
push and pull directions; and the shaft-end threaded piece can increase the
axial length of original equipment, and reduce the refitting
workload of axial force measurement as possible. It is proved that the method can be used to measure the axial force accurately and conveniently.
