Lonicera tatarica is a species of honeysuckle known by the common name Tatarian honeysuckle. It is native to Siberia and other parts of eastern Asia, but it is probably better known in North America, where it is a widespread introduced species and noxious weed. This plant, one of several exotic bush honeysuckles present in North America, was introduced as an ornamental plant in 1752. It is known across the continent west to Alaska and California, where it easily grows in disturbed habitat. It is a bushy shrub which may approach three meters in erect height. It is lined with oval or rounded leaves 3 to 6 centimeters long. The inflorescence is generally a pair of white to pink to crimson red flowers each about 1.5 centimeters long. The flowers are somewhat tubular, their stamens and styles protruding. The fruit is a shiny orange or red berry up to a centimeter wide. The plant forms thickets and spreads easily when birds and other animals consume the fruits.

Lonicera japonica nursery stock rapid propagation method

The invention belongs to the technical field of vegetative propagation, and particularly relates to a lonicera japonica nursery stock rapid propagation method. The lonicera japonica nursery stock rapid propagation method comprises the steps that the breeding and seedling culturing process of lonicera japonica cuttings is carried out on a rapid propagation seed bed, the rapid propagation seed bed uses perlite with good breathability as main substrate, and a water control system capable of achieving automatic spraying is arranged on the seed bed additionally; drugs capable of promoting the lonicera japonica cuttings to root is prepared into mud, the base portions of the lonicera japonica cuttings are dipped in the mud promoting rooting and are dried in the shade until the mud promoting the rooting is coagulated, the rooting drugs are made to act on the base portions of the cuttings for a long time, and therefore the rooting rate and rooting effects are improved. When the cuttings are cultured on the seed bed, the cuttings are made to generate calluses ahead of time or to shorten rooting time by spraying Yuhualing 1 leaf fertilizer. Through the application of the lonicera japonica nursery stock rapid propagation method, the usage of raw materials and propagation time when the rapid propagation of the lonicera japonica is carried out both have no limitation, and the lonicera japonica nursery stock rapid propagation method is quite suitable for factory-like, large-scale and intensive production of the seedling cultivation of lonicera japonica nursery stocks.
