This invention relates to the field of microbial technology, and particularly to a compound
probiotic agent for reducing the production of harmful intestinal gases and regulating intestinal
flora. The compound
probiotic of this invention consists of *
Bifidobacterium animalis* subsp. *lactobacter* Bi66, *
Lactobacillus plantarum* P16, and *
Saccharomyces boulardii* strain Bld-3. This invention combines these three strains to significantly increase the content of short-chain fatty acids in the intestinal
flora, increase the production of beneficial gases such as CH4 and H2, and reduce the production of harmful gases such as NH3 and H2S, thereby promoting the growth of
beneficial bacteria and inhibiting the growth of harmful
bacteria and regulating the intestinal
flora. While maintaining a consistent amount of
bacteria, compared with intervention methods lacking any one of the strains, the combination of the three strains showed the best effect in improving the intestinal flora, indicating that the three strains can cooperate and promote each other, and can synergistically enhance the effect in regulating the intestinal flora.
