Illumination system particularly for microlithography

The invention concerns an illumination system, particularly for microlithography with wavelengths <=193 nm, comprising a light source, a first optical component, a second optical component, an image plane and an exit pupil. The first optical component transforms the light source into a plurality of secondary light sources being imaged by the second optical component in said exit pupil. The first optical component comprises a first optical element having a plurality of first raster elements, which are imaged into said image plane producing a plurality of images being superimposed at least partially on a field in said image plane. The first raster elements deflect incoming ray bundles with first deflection angles, wherein at least two of the first deflection angles are different. The first raster elements are preferably rectangular, wherein the field is a segment of an annulus. To transform the rectangular images of the first raster elements into the segment of the annulus, the second optical component comprises a first field mirror for shaping the field to the segment of the annulus.

Compact dual-band resonator using anisotropic metamaterial

A dual-band resonator with compact size, such as a resonant type dual-band antenna, which uses an anisotropic metamaterial is described. The artificial anisotropic medium is implemented by employing a composite right / left-handed transmission line. The dispersion relation and the antenna physical size only depend on the composition of the unit cell and the number of cells used. By engineering the characteristics of the unit cells to be different in two orthogonal directions, the corresponding propagation constants can be controlled, thus enabling dual-band antenna resonances. In addition, the antenna dimensions can be markedly minimized by maximally reducing the unit cell size. A dual-band antenna is also described which is designed for operation at frequencies for PCS / Bluetooth applications, and which has a physical size of 1 / 18λ0× 1 / 18λ0× 1 / 19λ0, where λ0 is the free space wavelength at 2.37 GHz.

Method for implementing diffserv in the wireless access network of the universal mobile telecommunication system

The present invention provides a method for using Differentiated Services (DiffServ) to implement the IP packet classification and the marking of a Differential Service Code Point (DSCP) for the quality of service (QoS) in the wireless access network of the IP-based universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS). The present invention makes a classification to the data stream which is outgoing from the Iub interface at the Node B side, data stream which is outgoing from the Iub interface at the RNC side and data stream which is outgoing from the Iur interface at the RNC side according to the direction and the process of the respective data streams, and assigns and adjusts the priority of the data stream classified according to the principles for optimizing QoS and radio resources. When the network is congested, the data stream with a high level will have a higher priority than that with a lower level in queue and source occupancy, and the packet with a lower priority in the same queue is discarded. The DiffServ only contains a limited number of service levels and has little condition information, thus easy to be achieved and expanded.

A UE does not immediately perform handover after receiving a handover command from a serving base station, but instead backups that message and continuously compares the signal strength of a serving base station and the signal strength of a target base station and performs a handover to the target base station at the best timing when handover is required. Once the timing of handover is determined, the UE transmits a handover indication message to the serving base station, and thereafter the UE performs a handover to the target base station.

Methods and system suppressing clutter in a gain-block, radar-responsive tag system

Methods and systems reduce clutter interference in a radar-responsive tag system. A radar transmits a series of linear-frequency-modulated pulses and receives echo pulses from nearby terrain and from radar-responsive tags that may be in the imaged scene. Tags in the vicinity of the radar are activated by the radar's pulses. The tags receive and remodulate the radar pulses. Tag processing reverses the direction, in time, of the received waveform's linear frequency modulation. The tag retransmits the remodulated pulses. The radar uses a reversed-chirp de-ramp pulse to process the tag's echo. The invention applies to radar systems compatible with coherent gain-block tags. The invention provides a marked reduction in the strength of residual clutter echoes on each and every echo pulse received by the radar. SAR receiver processing effectively whitens passive-clutter signatures across the range dimension. Clutter suppression of approximately 14 dB is achievable for a typical radar system.

Methods and systems for scheduling a shared ride among commuters are disclosed. A shared ride may be created by first receiving a destination area and ride input factors from a rideshare subscribed entity, then generating a unique URL associated with the destination area. The unique URL is then transmitted to potential commuters. Users who access the URL input their commuter registration information, which may include commuter travel information, work schedule, home address, and whether the commuter currently drives or carpools to a destination location. A rideshare group is formed by applying a group formation algorithm with the processor to the commuter registration information, the destination area, and the at least one ride input factor to generate an output representing identity information for the rideshare group of commuters, at which point a shared ride is scheduled.

Electric oil pump control apparatus for vehicle, electric oil pump control method for vehicle, and shift apparatus

When the shift position is changed to the drive position, the amount of oil that is supplied to an automatic shift unit is increased by a larger amount as the standby hydraulic pressure is lower. Therefore, even if the standby hydraulic pressure is decreased, the required hydraulic pressure is more easily achieved when the shift position is changed to the drive position. Therefore, it is possible to decrease the standby hydraulic pressure without slowing down the response to the automatic shift unit to the hydraulic pressure and reducing the useful life of the automatic shift unit. Thus, the amount of electricity consumed by the electric oil pump is reduced. As a result, it is possible to enhance the fuel efficiency.
