The invention discloses an efficient autotrophic nitrogen removal system used for treating high-ammonia nitrogen wastewater and an operation method, and belongs to the technical field of wastewater biological nitrogen removal. The problems are solved that in the prior art, a related system needs to occupy a large land, the inoculation amount is too large, starting time is long, the nitrogen removal load is low, impact resistance is poor, and the system is easily affected by water-entering organic matter. Pure film denitrificaiton is combined with mud film one-part form autotrophic nitrogen removal, a denitrification pond is arranged in the front, an autotrophic nitrogen removal pond is arranged in the rear, and outgoing water returns. Three operation modes of the rapid starting method canbe realized and include the parallel operation mode, the double-series A operation mode and the double-series B operation mode, the water outlet direction of four reaction ponds is controlled througha communication valve, and therefore the reaction ponds are connected in series or in parallel or operate independently; by means of inoculation, fed-batch and others, rapid starting of the technologyis realized; according to treatment requirements, different technological arrangement modes are realized. The efficient autotrophic nitrogen removal system has the advantages that occupied land is small, the inoculation proportion is small, starting is rapid, the nitrogen removal load is high, the impact resistance is high, and resistance to water-entering organic matter is good.
