Sliding rail assembly for wire basket

A sliding rail assembly for wire baskets is provided. The rail of the sliding rail assembly has an enlarged opening in the front so that a wire basket could be guided into the rail quickly and easily. A number of wheel members are installed along the bottom of the rail to provide both support and sliding functions to the wire basket, and much less abrasion and squeaking noise is generated when the wire basket is pushed or pulled along the rail. Specially designed blocking members are installed along the rail so as to prevent the wire basket from being pulled entirely out of the rail, or being pushed too far into the rail.

Thermally applied coating of mechanically alloyed powders for piston rings

The invention relates to a wear-resistant coating used for bearing surfaces and flanks of piston rings in internal combustion engines. The wear-resistant inventive coating is obtained by mechanically alloying powders which form a metallic matrix with hard material dispersoids and lubricant material dispersoids. The coating is then thermally applied to the workpieces, especially by means of high velocity oxygen fuel spraying (HVOF). The workpieces coated are bearing surfaces and parts of flanks pertaining to piston rings in internal combustion engines.

Movement and attitude controlled mobile station control

A mobile station embodiment (400) is provided with a reflection detector (401) which may provide supplemental inputs along with keys (402) such that a character encoding, such as, e.g. ASCII, is selected on the basis of the reflection detector (401) alone, or in combination with keys (402) either pushed down or released. A movable target or pendulum (405) may provide an ability to sense the near space along a direction that the reflection detector is sensitive to. Signals may be transmitted from the reflection detector (401) and pass across a void or other great distance before being reflected, if at all. If such signals are reflected toward the reflection detector (401), and the signals have not been overly attenuated, the reflection detector (401) may provide a ‘reflect’ signal to any on-board processor of the mobile station (400). The pendulum (405) may be influenced by wind, gravity or acceleration (405) to operate as a reflector to cooperate with the reflection detector (401) and generate a ‘reflect’ signal.

Belt feed mechanism for mil-spec linked ammo

A lower-receiver type feeding device for belted ammunition cartridges. A lead cartridge of the belt is separated from its lead link at a central stripping station. A rocker-type transfer mechanism sequentially moves cartridges with connected link toward the central stripping station. The transfer mechanism is driven through a cam interface with the bolt-carrier group. A sheering lip is disposed at the central stripping station to engage the lead link directly below the lead cartridge and resist stripping forces when the lead cartridge is pushed through a first outlet for chambering. A mag well post slides into a magazine well of the firearm. A bolt catch extension is pivotally carried on the right pivot shaft to remotely activate the bolt catch. An end-of-link stop is joined to the end of the ammunition belt. The end-of-link stop comprised a dummy cartridge having a longitudinally extending groove.

A toothbrush having multiple bundles of bristles preferably arranged in two rows spaced apart from one another, and each bundle independently anchored into the front surface of the brush head with bundles in the opposed rows directed inwardly toward one another and angled toward a common intersection, allowing the free tip ends of the bristles to terminate in a single, common row. Each bundle is free standing and the bundles in one row have alternating relation with the bundles in the other row or rows. Thus, the free tip ends of the bristles in each bundle terminate independently and unopposed, allowing the bristles in each bundle to have movement independent from those in adjacent bundles, apply less force against teeth, and provide less abrasion of the rounded outward tooth surfaces at or near the gingival level during the cleaning of interproximal areas of teeth.
