The invention discloses
red mud-
phosphogypsum synergistically modified
asphalt mortar and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: modifying
red mud and
phosphogypsum, and adding an SBS modifier, a compatilizer, a stabilizer, an exciting agent, slaked
lime and wood fibers to design
asphalt mortar and an
asphalt mixture with excellent high and low temperature performance. According to the method, the low-temperature flexibility of the
asphalt mortar is improved and the
brittleness of the
asphalt mortar at low temperature is reduced by utilizing the synergistic effect of the
red mud, the ardealite and the exciting agent hydroxyapatite or carbonated
apatite; the red mud and the ardealite can excite the reaction activity among different
metal ions under the action of the exciting agent hydroxyapatite or
apatite carbonate, so that the red mud and the ardealite are promoted to form a more complex
spatial network structure with the asphalt and form a complex
spatial network structure with the asphalt, the cohesion and the deformation resistance of the
asphalt mortar are enhanced, and the service life of the asphalt
mortar is prolonged. The high-temperature stability of the asphalt mortar is effectively improved, and the
rut damage of a pavement under a high-temperature condition is reduced; active ingredients of the red mud and the ardealite chemically react with certain components in the asphalt, so that the water stability of the asphalt mortar is further improved, and the diseases such as pits and slots caused by
water damage to the pavement are reduced.
