The electric appliance fault detection method increases the identification of classes of the electric appliances, solves the problem that fault electric appliances cannot be confirmed after fault identification in the prior art, and can determine whether types of electric appliances have faults through combination of the fault identification and a load switch identification algorithm based on power.
