According to the water treatment method, after the peroxide is dissolved in water, hydrogen peroxide slowly released reacts with the peroxymonosulfate rapidly to continuously generate the low-concentration high-activity singlet oxygen which can be efficiently utilized by pollutants, the self decomposition of the singlet oxygen is reduced, and the utilization rate of the singlet oxygen is increased.
