According to the method, the protection coating which is good in film / base bonding force, compact in film layer, small in surface roughness, resistant to high temperature oxidation and excellent in heat corrosion resistance can be prepared on the high temperature alloy surface. The method can solve the problem that traditional arc ion plating target using rate is low, the aggregation state arc spot drop large particles are achieved, and the method is suitable for industrial production.

Counter devices (12) associated with the apparatus (100, 101, 102) counteract the axial ejection thrust so as to allow the speed at which the supporting element (9) is drawn out of the sleeve (8) itself to be controlled.
