A system and method for conservation of battery power in a portable medical device is provided. In one example, a processor arrangement that includes a plurality of processors is implemented. At least one of these processors is configured to execute the critical functions of the medical device, while one or more other processors assume a reduced service level, thereby drawing significantly less power. According to this arrangement, the medical device conserves energy by drawing the additional electrical power needed to activate the additional processing power only when needed.

A method of disinfection and lighting by using LEDs and an LED device thereof are provided. Two kinds of LEDs, i.e., the lighting LEDs, and the UV-LEDs, are fixed on a circuit board evenly and mixedly in a certain way, and a separator is also provided on the circuit board. Meanwhile, a controlling circuit module having a function of mode switching controls the UV-LEDs and the lighting LEDs, in such a manner that the functions of UV-LED disinfection and LED lighting are combined well in a same device. The invention discloses a reversible fuel cell-based high-capacity power energy storage device which comprises an AC/DC (Alternating Current/Direct Current) converting system, a reversible fuel cell system, a DC/AC converting system, a control system, a hydrogen storage system, an oxygen storage system and a water storage system. The electric energy is converted into chemical energy pure hydrogen and pure oxygen in an electrolysis running mode of the reversible fuel cell system, and the pure hydrogen and pure oxygen are respectively stored in the hydrogen storage system and the oxygen storage system; The stored hydrogen and oxygen are converted from chemical energy into electric energy in a power generation running mode of the reversible fuel cell system at the grid load peak time and combined into the grid by the DC/AC converting system. The product water in the running process of the whole energy storage device is stored into the water storage device, and the water consumed in the electrolysis running mode and water generated in the power generation running mode can be recycled. The invention realizes the energy conversion of electric energy and chemical energy under different demands and has the characteristics of high capacity, low cost, long service life and simple structure.

In accordance with one embodiment, the hollow cathode is comprised of a first tantalum tube, tantalum foil, and a second tantalum tube. The welded connecting portions of the vibrating sheet are only formed in the stress insensitive region of the vibrating sheet, wherein the stress insensitive region is the region of the vibrating sheet which has an angle of not more than 45 degrees with respect to the revolving axis. The present invention not only simplifies the process, but also improves the measurement precision and service life of the Coriolis mass flow meter and the vibrating tube density meter.

A WIM (weigh-in-motion) sensor has an oblong hollow profile and includes two force-transmission plates arranged parallel to each other. The arrangement also comprises a rotation-generating device arranged to supply a torque to the impact device with a rotation generated via a rotation pressure, and a pressurisable damping chamber arranged to at least partially regulate the rock drill's contact with the rock via the prevailing pressure in the damping chamber, in which connection the shock wave-generating pressure is regulated depending on the rotation pressure. The arrangement comprises a control system arranged to: determine a first parameter value representing the damping pressure or feed pressure, determine a second parameter value representing the drill bit's rotation pressure, determine a deviation between the above second parameter value and a rotation pressure reference value, determine a parameter reference value depending on the above deviation and regulate the percussion pressure based on a function of the above deviation and the above parameter reference value.
