The invention discloses a strong circular dichroism chiral metasurface design based on a QBIC resonance structure. The metasurface is composed of two groups of silicon medium rods which are symmetrical about an original point. Each group of medium rods comprises an elliptic cylinder and a long cube, the positions and heights of the elliptic cylinder and the long cube are different, and the elliptic cylinder structure is kept in a floating state. According to the invention, the circular dichroism can reach 0.86 when the wavelength is 657 nanometers, and the circular dichroism in the range of 650-664 nanometers is greater than 0.6, so that an enhanced circular dichroism response function is achieved. The characteristic is derived from a QBIC resonance structure formed by two groups of silicon dielectric rods. By continuously optimizing the structure, the metasurface with a stronger circular dichroism effect can be obtained. The invention provides a novel method for flexibly adjusting and enhancing circular dichroism in nano photonics. By virtue of the unique optical characteristics, the design of the invention is expected to be widely applied in the fields of biosensing, optical communication, quantum technology and the like.
