The invention relates to a high-strength epoxy resin iron-core glue used for an amorphous transformer. The iron-core glue comprises an A component and a B component, wherein the A component comprises a bisphenol A epoxy resin, a flexibilizer liquid isoprene rubber pre-dispersed in an epoxy diluent, a thixotropy powder material, a gray glue, an antifoaming agent and a silane coupling agent; and the B component comprises a curing agent polyamide 651, a curing agent polyetheramine D-400, an accelerant DMP-30, benzyl alcohol, a thixotropy powder material and silicon powder. The iron-core glue is prepared by (1) a step of pre-dispersion of the liquid isoprene rubber; (2) a step of preparation of the A component; and (3) a step of preparation of the B component. By addition of the flexibilizer liquid isoprene rubber, the iron-core glue provided by the invention has improved bonding strength, shock resistance, high toughness, and good heat resistance, and the iron-core glue has thixotropy performance by addition of the thixotropy powder material. The flexibilizer liquid isoprene rubber is pre-dispersed in the epoxy diluent during preparation, thus eliminating adverse phenomena of layering and precipitating.
